About Maze Rats
Why this archive exists, and how it works.
Maze Rats is a fan-run archive dedicated to documenting maze rooms across Habbo Hotel — the winding, trap-laden, puzzle-filled builds that hotel residents have created over the years.
Why an archive?
Rooms in Habbo don't last forever. Builders move on, accounts go inactive, and hotels get retired — and with them, the mazes disappear. This project exists to keep a record of who built what, where, and what made each one worth remembering, before that history is lost for good.
What counts as a "maze room"?
- Traditional wall-and-path mazes built for navigation challenges
- Puzzle rooms built around trap doors, teleports, or hidden routes
- Long-form or multi-floor labyrinths built as ongoing projects
- Notable event or seasonal mazes, even if only temporary
How entries are added
Every room in the archive is a simple record: its name, its builder, its status, and a short writeup. Entries are added and updated by hand as rooms are found, verified, or reported closed.
Know a maze room that should be archived?
Reach out with the room name, the builder's username, which hotel it's on, and whether it's still active. (Replace this note with your actual contact — Discord, Habbo username, or a form — once you're ready to take submissions.)
